How to Book Your Broadway Proposal

General Booking FAQ

How does the experience timing work?

Shortly after curtain call, you will meet your guide and photographer, complete a backstage tour waiver, and be escorted backstage for a brief experience. The tour begins in the stage wings and continues onto the stage, where the proposal takes place, followed by a guided photo session.

The experience typically begins approximately 10 minutes after curtain call and concludes within about 30 minutes.

Will the stage be private during my proposal?

Your proposal takes place on the Broadway stage at ALADDIN on Broadway after the performance. Other guests may be present on stage or elsewhere in the theatre during the experience.

As a result, other guests may appear in the background of your proposal moment and photos. A private stage cannot be guaranteed.

Can I bring guests backstage or on stage?

The package is designed for two adults (18+) only. With advance purchase, up to six additional guests may attend to witness the proposal. Additional guest add-on starting from $175.00+ per person and the cost of a premium ticket. Your celebration specialist will arrange your tickets.

Is there a minimum age to book or participate?

Guests must be 18 years or older to book the package. All guests participating in the on-stage experience must also be 18 years or older.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. All guests entering backstage areas are required to sign a waiver prior to participation. Your tour guide will assist with this before the experience begins.

What happens if the show is canceled or rescheduled?

If ALADDIN on Broadway cancels or reschedules your performance, our team will work with you to rebook your experience, subject to availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable and required. Full payment is due by the date specified in your confirmation.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled performance are non-refundable.

Can we live stream the proposal?

No. This is a private, contracted experience and may not be broadcast or live streamed for commercial or public purposes.

What are the marquee message guidelines?

Marquee messages will utilize first names only (for example, “Congratulations Alex & Taylor!”). No acronyms, or suggestive names will be approved that do not meet a general audience standard. Approval at Disney’s discretion.

Messages must be submitted at least two weeks prior to your visit. Requests received within two weeks will not receive personalization.

Is the experience accessible?

Yes. Please share any accessibility needs at the time of booking so we can provide reasonable accommodations. Guests using mobility devices will access the stage via an exterior entrance with assistance from a tour guide.

Photography FAQ & Details

How long is the photography session?

Photography sessions last up to 15 minutes following the proposal and cannot be extended.

What is included with the photo package?

The photo package includes 15 to 20 color-corrected digital images, with the option for up to two retouched images.

When will I receive my photos?

Images are delivered digitally within 2 to 4 weeks after your event date. Additional retouching may be available for an additional fee.

Who owns the photos?

Guests may use the photos for personal purposes. Disney retains the right to use images for promotional purposes. Commercial use or resale is not permitted.

Can I bring my own photographer?

No. Photography services are provided exclusively by Disney. Outside photographers or vendors are not permitted.

Are there attire requirements for photos?

Guests must adhere to Disney’s family-friendly attire standards. Inappropriate or suggestive clothing will not be permitted or photographed.
